I researched book jacket designer Chip Kidd and created an accordian fold biograpy on him. I learned all about his fascination with comic books and super heroes and how that inspired him in his work. Besides being influenced by this, Chip Kidd does not have a specific design style. From my research, I could tell that Chip Kidd had quite the sense of humor. I utilized this and his fascination with comic books to influence the design of my book. As you'll see below, the page with the image of the Book of the Penis has a leaf that lifts up to reveal more text. This was inspired by the real book jacket which had a leaf that lifted up, but revealed nothing.
